About Courtney
I am a product inventor, brand builder, and toy design veteran with more than twenty years of experience bringing original ideas to life. My work spans toys, soft goods, connected fitness accessories, and experiential design. I specialize in turning concepts into tangible, market-ready products through thoughtful design, prototyping, manufacturing, and brand strategy.
As the founder of Drip Accessory, I invented and design-patented the Spintowel, a custom-fit fitness accessory that established a new category within connected fitness. The brand sold more than 50,000 units directly to consumers, built a community of over 35,000 subscribers, and achieved a 43% repeat-customer rate. I led every aspect of the business from product development and sourcing to visual identity, e-commerce, and collaboration with premium fitness platforms, including SoulCycle and Equinox.
Earlier in my career, I founded Molloy Toy Inc., a design studio collaborating with major brands such as Fisher-Price and Mattel. I developed proprietary product lines, managed international manufacturing, and brought licensed characters to life through thoughtful, story-driven design. My foundation in toy design continues to inform my approach to play, functionality, and emotional connection in every product I create.
Today, I continue to design, prototype, and build through Built by Court, a creative studio focused on playful object design and hands-on workshops that reconnect people with the joy of making. Whether inventing a new product, developing a brand, or crafting a physical prototype, I am driven by the belief that well-designed objects shape experience.
I build products. I build brands. I build creative systems.
